EN<\/strong>: After obtaining my PhD in sociology at Sciences-po Paris in 2004, I worked as a lecturer at the University of Lille (2005-2008), then at the Ecole des Hautes \u00c9tudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris (2008-2015). Since 2015, I hold the Canada Research Chair in Social Inequalities and Life Course<\/em>, and I am a professor of sociology at the University of Montreal. My research focuses on life courses and intergenerational ties, analyzed from a comparative perspective. I am the author of several books on these themes, including \u00abBecoming an Adult. Comparative Sociology of Youth in Europe<\/em><\/a> \u00bb (Presses Universitaires de France, 2008) and \u00ab Sociology of Life Course<\/em><\/a>\u00bb (Armand Colin, 2015). I have received several awards and distinctions : French National Merit Order (2015), Italia Prize (2014), Red Cross Senior Research Prize (2013), and Le Monde<\/em> University Research Prize (2006). I am currently developing a global approach to the dynamics of social anger and hope within the younger generations, as well as a sociology of loneliness throughout life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

FR<\/strong>: Apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu mon doctorat en sociologie \u00e0 Sciences-po Paris en 2004, j’ai exerc\u00e9 comme ma\u00eetresse de conf\u00e9rences \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 de Lille (2005-2008), puis \u00e0 l’\u00c9cole des Hautes \u00c9tudes en Sciences Sociales \u00e0 Paris (2008-2015). Depuis 2015, je suis titulaire de la Chaire de recherche du Canada sur les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sociales et les parcours de vie, et professeure de sociologie \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al. Mes recherches portent sur les parcours de vie et les liens entre g\u00e9n\u00e9rations, analys\u00e9s d’un point de vue comparatif. J\u2019ai \u00e9crit plusieurs ouvrages sur ces th\u00e8mes, dont \u00ab\u00a0Devenir adulte. Sociologie compar\u00e9e de la jeunesse en Europe<\/em><\/a> \u00a0\u00bb (Presses Universitaires de France, 2008) et \u00a0\u00bb Sociologie des \u00e2ges de la vie<\/em><\/a>\u00a0\u00bb (Armand Colin, 2015). J’ai re\u00e7u plusieurs prix et distinctions : Ordre national du m\u00e9rite fran\u00e7ais (2015), Prix Italia (2014), Prix Croix-Rouge de la recherche senior (2013), et Prix Le Monde de la recherche universitaire (2006). Je d\u00e9veloppe actuellement une approche globale des dynamiques<\/span> de la col\u00e8re sociale et de l\u2019espoir au sein des jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations, ainsi qu\u2019une sociologie de la solitude au fil de la vie. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
